Lurching minor key accordion & drum corkers that're sometimes herkyjerk peppy & sometimes brooding & melancholy, but always showing their hand-stitched seams. Nell & Ivanna have both been playing around town for quite a while, and if they lived in Brooklyn or Los Angeles they'd probably be on the covers of glossy mags that sell rainbow leg warmers by now. Instead, they're the real thing and yay for that. A pretty wide variety of recording techniques & guest instruments (horns, electronics, xylophone, kazoo) keep things moving from pop to gleeful noise blurts to haunting ballads.
