Los Brincos broke open the Madrid teen music scene so completely, ex-members Juan & Junior are both still stars in Spain today. Deliberately formed by an A&R guy (from members of Los Pekenikes) to imitate the Beatles, they brought Brincosis to a world where original lyrics & zany garage passion were uncommon. The combination of genuinely unbalanced beat ('Shag it' is pretty undeniable) & aching-sweet vocal harmonies is doubly infectious.
