Late 50s short stories about juvenile deliquents, who, at least in these stories, are in their mid-20s and when not busy humping, are killing each other every 20 seconds. Lots of lascivious girls who are dying to be groped by the switchblade-wielding, leering toughs & who pick their pockets. Ellison researched street gang life by joining one in Red Hook, Brooklyn under the utterly ridiculous name Cheech Beldone. During the mid 1960s, he went on to be Hollywood's darling for a little while, & wrote for everything from the Flying Nun to Route 66, Star Trek, the Man From UNCLE, & the Alfred Hitchcock Hour. 150 pages or so.
