Georg Deuter grew up on the southeastern border of Germany, & was involved in a serious car crash when he was fairly young. Upon recovery, he turned to music, making this 1st throbby, spaceshot album by overdubbing himself playing organ, wonking on a sitar, shaking some bells, watching water drip, and pinging back & forth with lots & lots & lots of tape delay. Deuter moved to India in the 70s & lived in an ashram, with his trusty tape recorder, where he made meditation music. Then in the 1990s, he moved to New Mexico & started a New Age record label, where he's still releasing titles to this day. A krautrock perennial that holds up to years of return visits. Tracklisting: Babylon, Der Turm/Fluchtpunkt, Krishna Eating Fish and Chips, Atlantis, Gammastrahlen-Lamm.
