Genius early 60s ineptitude that rivals Godz, Legendary Stardust Cowboy, etc. French non-musicians rip through enthused covers of Gene Vincent, Johnny Halliday, Chubby Checker, etc. They look to've been a parody of Eddy Mitchell's Les Chaussettes Noires (aka The Black Socks- this band translates to the Black Jackets), but Mitchell was drafted in '62 and that quickly put an end to their usefulness- outside of tuneless ramshackle entertainment that is. Their complete discography was just two eps, but it's all here. Tracklisting: Be Bop Alula, Eddie Sois Bon, Depuis Que Ma Mome, Hey Pony, Twist Again, Cherie Oh Cherie, Twist a St Tropez, Les Fous Du Twist.
