Kuckuck is mostly known as a droney krautrock label because they put out Deuter & Terry Riley records. But their singles range a lot wider, from Bay City Rollers knockoffs to the library lounge of American expat Sam Spence. A good chunk of the tunes border on schlager and are square as your grandma's rubix cube. You'll either think that's amusing, because goofy Germans amuse you, or you won't cause they don't.
