Phillips is one of those secret music masters without whom America would be a much worse place. Founder of Colpix records, he scored hits for Shelly Fabares, invented Capitol's easy listening schmufs the Hollywood Strings, and wrote scores for 'Beyond the Valley of the Dolls', 'The Six Million Dollar Man', 'Battlestar Galactica', 'The Amazing Spider Man', 'The Fall Guy, and perhaps best of all... 'Knight Rider'. A hard to get biker soundtrack, & Stu's lounge + fuzz chops are second to none. The Peanut Butter Conspiracy & Lollipop Shoppe songs that're here aren't on their regular albums (though they've been bonuses here & there over the years). The movie revolved around a Vietnam vet joining the Hell's Angels & losing his morals until he gets killed by the cops, & was directed by a real life race car driver. Tracklisting: Peanut Butter Conspiracy-No One Says a Word, Stu Phillips-Angels From Hell, Stu Phillips-4 O'Clock Tea, Stu Phillips-Walkin In, Peanut Butter Conspiracy-Crystal Tear, Peanut Butter Conspiracy-Angels From Hell, Stu Phillips-Propinquity, Stu Phillips-Circumambient Circles, Ted Markland-Shake Off the Chains, Lollipop Shoppe-Mr Madison Avenue, Stu Phillips-Amalgamation, Lollipop Shoppe-Who's It Gonna Be.
