Sidiku Buari was a silver medal Olympic runner in the mid-1960s. He moved from Accra to Chicago at the end of his athletic career & ended up in music school there. This record was supposed to be a Ghana-meets-disco album, but they (thankfully) mostly forgot to include the disco. Pretty Purdie on drums & the Salsoul Orchestra's bass player help out. Tracklisting: Karam Bani, Then Yebtheyet, Ku Ka Maria, Advice From Father, Iro Le Pa, Ye Koaba, Peace, Oh Africa.
