Best record by Alan Hawkshaw, UK library songwriter & undisputed Brit Hammond king at the great KPM, along with some ever-nameless session musicians. Rumor has it that Hawkshaw put together a session in his down time for fun, and it went over so well that it ended up being released on the soul label Pama. Love the slammin' wiggle of that organ, along with incredibly funky bass runs, ladies cooing in the background, & trap drums that could rival Hal Blaine with their chunky swing.
