Brown & William Winant are both teaching at Mills College in California at the moment. Winant's drumming is pretty integral to the proceedings, as Brown's pieces all invlove a kind of process counting. Instead of just having the sounds you play get shoved through delay & then thrown back into the mix with you, they use the *timing* of what you play to spurt out sound whose patterns in turn influence the rest of the piece.
