Italian composer & sometime ethnomusicologist (he's collected some neato Greek & north Italian vocal pieces that were released on Buda label cds), who tries to construct pieces that are as unwillful & undeliberate as possible. If you think about it for a second, a pretty tall order. Lots of horns popping along on the same note, or on thirds. Big chunks of silence marked by single piano notes. Some quotes from Bach or even earlier composers, but always the most incindental, unrecognizable parts. D'Angiolini also dedicated one of the pieces here to himself, which is kinda cute.
