Great clambering clunks of junk, by Voice Crack, before they'd quite put a name on it & were still mostly known as Swiss cousins to the FMP crowd. Frog croaks get pumped out of saxes, warehouse leftovers get tripped over. Someone lets a buzzy toy wheel around on the floor for a bit. There are also high, tense plucks of overstretched strings, and eventually things turn into a big soup of electronics with elephantine saxes wrestling around amidst the muck. Can't even express how similar this record is to shows I've witnessed in the last few years- there's something about the way Moslang & Guhl remain static on each tone that's chosen that is very, very contemporary.
