Koichi is a vocalist who specializes in extended techniques, but he often gets obsessed with some side project and puts out instrumental collaborations. This one's almost all jew's harp, which he got interested in while learning to throat sing. And quite properly, he decided that if he was going to make an all-jew's-harp record, he ought to do it with someone else who was really into the same thing: Swiss folk music collector/cassette recorder musician/jew's harp obsessive Anton Bruhin. They use "electric" ones (same as regular, but it has something like an ebow on it), bass versions, and even one that you play by dipping it in a tube of water. One big long low buzz, with Koichi & Bruhin occasionally whispering or humming or burping or overtone singing along the top. Tracklisting: Mojiri, Electric Eel, Kimosui, Sea to River, Jubako, Tokujo, Unagi No Mimi.
