Florida band that successfully nails the thick keyboard-driven pop of the UK (especially the Fixx, with touches of Cure & Cars in there too). Lead singer was from London, so his overly dramatic accent is legit. Synths are used over more synths, synth drums & even more synths, and then they all mimic bomb sounds on one song, to pretty awesome effect. Notes include the drawings the band used to make sure they always had the same settings for playing particular songs live. Tracklisting: Meteoright, Lonely Streets, Army Now, Poison Ivy, Push Me Pull You Pt 2, Split Second Decision, Damsel in Distress, Lonely Streets, Meteoright, Army Now, What We Have to Have.
