Dazzling collection of singles which all featured the involvement of the Paul McCartney-obsessed Peruvian bossa/psych masters We All Together. There's blasted out Hendrix damage & plenty of those patented sickly sweet harmony vocals. Carlos Guerrero's drop dead gorgeous sister Monica sings a Lesley Gore number. I even like the Moby Grape jammy songs by Cerro Verde (usually can't stand the style). The Lima scene was incestuous enough that you get Laghonia related tracks as a bonus. A dizzy, wonderous record.
Tracklisting: Carlos Guerrero & Nilo Espinosa Orquesta-Light My Fire, Beto Villena & We All Together-Suavecito, Monik-Thank You, Monik-The World Is Getting Worst, Monik-Maybe I Know, Monik-Forgiveness, Illicit-We Wish to Be Listened, Illicit-Realize, FE 59-Nunca Seas Triste, FE 59-Estoy Brillando, Cerro Verde-Guess I'm Going Away, Cerro Verde-Leave Your Strange Ways, Cerro Verde-Play It On, Cerro Verde-I Lost a Game, Laghonia-The Sandman, Smog-Time for the Blues, Smog-Wicked Man, Monik-The World is Getting Worst, Monik-Thank You.
