Haack is a good enough songwriter and a fascinating enough inventor that people continue to crop up who would like to think of him as their forerunner: psych fans, techno fans, beats nerds, and on & on. Here he's portrayed as the first user of the vocoder (poor Pete Drake & Alvino Rey!). I think Mr. Rogers would have us all take the kindlier view of fellow Haack fans, and Haack himself would probably cite the moral lessons of Canadian Indians. So, while most folks probably have at least a bit of this in their collection already, there are a couple of very hard to find singles included. Besides these, you get tracks from 'The Electric Lucifer' Vols. 1 & 2, 'Haackula', and 'Together'. Tracklisting: Electric To Me Turn, Incantation, National Anthem to the Moon, Maybe This Song, Rain of Earth, Rita, Man Kind, Epilogue, Ancient Mariner, Stand Up Lazarus, Noon Day Sun, Lie Back, Program Me, The King, Party Machine.
