Peruvian folk that's quite a bit more traditional than the pop-psych of We All Together or Telegraph Avenue. If you're anything like me, well-to-do street musicians who park next to upscale glasses shops have soured you permanently on Andean pan pipes. Their presence here is mostly unobtrusive, but it's the tracks that stay away from the flutey tooting & stick to tinkling 12-string & mandolin that are most successful. One later cut gets even trippier with little arrhythmic toy piano & glass harmonica breakouts.
