Bosetti started out playing sax, but these days does electroacoustic projects & installations. Here, he made tapes of speakers of foreign languages (that he can't speak/found musical) & then recorded guitar, electronics or collages to match them. Some textures are cool and others rough, but follwing the halting pitches & reels of the speakers means that this disc spits out lots of fascinating & unusual shapes. In most cases, the speakers were just people he met while traveling, but the Japanese speakers are fellow jazz improvisors. And there's even one language that Bosetti made up himself. Tracklisting: Jana (Dogon, Mali), Laida and Mikel Looking For Rhymes (Basque), Advertencia (Silbo Gomero, Spain), Oos Kaa Naam (Urdu, Pakistan), Restless, Claeys, Giagei Kamama (Mandarin), Chairo No Kami (Creole), Gigagei Kamama (Cherokee), Chairo No Kami (Japanese), Zahre (Saurano, Italy), Signora Relax (Tagalog, Philippines), Longwaves (Xhosa/Zulu, South Africa), Gut te Fux Ab te Fut (International Shortwave Language).
