Canadian beat that has some dead ringers for the early Zombies, except that instead of following this lead, the members cranked up the amps and turned into Steppenwolf. A few songs have a sweet folky edge, & the vocal harmonies are super loud in the mix & delightful (technically though, they're more like vocal unities, as the guys barely manage intervals of a third). The R&B-leaning numbers are sweet & Beatles-y. Teenybopper liner notes tell you that bass player Nick St Nicholas would like to grow up to be an interior decorator. Instead he was a member of Blue Cheer, and now plays corporate parties as a member of the World Classic Rockers (Could he have thought up a worse band name?) with ex-members of Toto, Journey, Santana, Skynard, etc. Tracklisting: Our Love Has Passed, Sparrows and Daisies, Take It Slow, You Don't Want Me Now, It's Been One of Those Days, If You Don't Want My Love, Give My Love to Sally, Glad to Be With You, Give My Love To You, Leavin Blues, Dream On Dreamer, I'll Be the Boy.
