Arp & Prophet synths, step sequencers & drum machines, and although you'll get nostalgic for the boinking cues from the movie, they also sit still sometimes & let deep bass penetrate the bridge of your nose. John Carpenter played the synths owned by Alan Howarth, a guy who made Hollywood sound effects for a living. The flick itself is one of the best things about the entire decade of the 80s, and the way it ups the ante on a big city as a human toilet remains awesome. Several bonus cuts from the sessions that were never used in the film. Tracklisting: Main Title, The Bank Robbery, Over the Wall/Airforce One, He's Still Alive/Romero, Orientation, Engulfed Cathedral, Across the Roof, Descent Into New York, Back to the Pod, Everyone's Coming to New York, Back to the Pod/The Crazies Come Out, Arrival at the Library, The Duke Arrives/Barricade, President at the Train, Police Action, Romero and the President, The President is Gone, 69th Street Bridge, Over the Wall, Shake Shake/End Credits.
