The dirge peak of Stockholm psych, featuring the guitar playing of Bo Anders Persson (Parson Sound, Trad Gras och Stenar). Drummer was in an early version of the Mecki Mark Men. The band's sources stretch from tradtional Swedish folk songs to the occasional Rolling Stones cover. Most of the album's lyrics were written by Thomas Tidholm, who was invited to join the band becasue he had traveled to San Francisco, been the the Filmore, seen the Fugs, and played a plastic saxophone (Tidholm later went on to become famous in Sweden as an author of children's books). Dirty hippie toot-and-fall-over that's totally stoned & most reminiscent of a pan pipe mud orgy. Also of note: contrary to what the existence of the Grateful Dead may imply, here's proof that sloppy & off-key backup vocals can be delightful. Tracklisting: Dies Irae, I Villande Skogen, There Is No Other Place, The Runcorn Report on Western Progress, Statsministern, Ho Chi Minh, It's Only Love, Klockan ar Mycket, Ut Till Vanster, Sommarlaten, Sov Gott Rose Marie, I Mourn You, How To Survive, Skordetider.
