Uniquely pissed off kill-whitey play written by the author of 'Blues People' (from which comes most people's ideas about Pat Boone stealing from Fats Domino) and backed by Sun Ra's Arkestra. Plot is about half beat-poetry and half 5 percenter Nation of Islam, with bouts of near outsider oddness plus maniacal laughing and women squealing. Sun Ra can mostly be heard at the intro & end, vamping 'The Satellites are Spinning' & bits from other ubiquitous songs in his catalog. Recorded (badly) in a converted house-theater, as Baraka had just decided to part ways with the Black Arts Repertory School & was back in his hometown in Jersey in 68. Unlike many 60s counterculture figures, Baraka is still quite vitally interested in making sure the ruling elite experience "the acid vomit of the fire of Hell". That's not a very popular political platform these days, which makes him even more likable.
