Subtle, percussion-heavy free jazz from 70s NYC. Lee was from New Orleans & employs parade/funeral march moves here & there, but there are also really unique bells, vibes & tense harmonies (it's even Schoenberg-esque on songs like 'Cosmopolitan'). A sudden attempt at soul singing on one track is also fascinating/misguided. Lee played most of the instruments himself too. Tracklisting: Revelation, Spirit Voice, Cosmic Vision, Wymbo Ngoma, Regeneration, Freedom Bells, Acknowledgement, Love Parable, Nola Reflex, Evolution, Cosmopolitan, Second Line March, Constant Search, I Want Our Love to Always Last, Mystic Sound.
