Unreleased sweet soul that's honey soft. The band was centered around a Washington DC community center, and after a van crash nearly killed them they all converted to Islam together. They managed to play as far away as Bermuda, and eventually persevered into a signing with Mercury. They moved to LA to make the record, but by that time had changed into a jazz-fusion disco-sheen sorta band that wore gold lame pants. These earlier recordings show their roots in streetcorner doo wop, Impressions records, & wearing dashikis. Tracklisting: Everybody's Got a Problem, Linda, Dirt and Grime, Who's Gonna Save the World, Kohoutek, In Shallah, Father's Children, Universal Train, Linda Movement.
