Dot went to the same high school as Kenny Burell & Donald Byrd, had her own radio show & put on plays in Detroit with her husband/drummer. She's probably best known as a much-sampled session gal on Stevie Wonder's 'Songs in the Key of Life'. More quick single-line solos & bachelor swing on this 3rd album than Alice Coltrane's wind-in-the-trees style.
