2nd most famous member of the Temptations (after David Ruffin). Their falsetto vocalist, vocal arranger, and the man who made them wear fluffy purple suits, who also supposedly slept with most of the Supremes. Kendricks pretty much up & left because the band got too psychedelic under the hand of Norman Whitfield, but happily put a bunch of people in loudly printed togas holding spears on the back cover of this 2nd solo album. Really good satin strings funk with a little spicy influence from War, one long (7+ mins) cut of proto-disco.
