Krautrock from Stuttgart. Gila started out as an art school/student troupe that did theater performances, quickly moved on to long instrumental space-out jams with lots of mellotron. Guitarist Conny Veit split things up briefly to join Popol Vuh in Munich for 'Hosianna Mantra', and during the mid 70s he also went on a French tour with Amon Duul & joined Guru Guru for about a minute.
