Fuzzers that strike a carefree balance between snarling garage & beat pop, from Santiago Chile. Far snappier than their compatriots like the Blops & lighter than Kissing Spell or Los Jaivas, they began doing all covers in Castillian. This was the record where they really stepped out on their own. There's one Stones cover, but they capably wig off into jazz for a second, & have a sweet harmony ballad. Interesting lyrics (in Castillian, but translated in the notes) about Rudy Valentino & the MGM lion, what it would be like if the future was full of hippies, etc. Seems like they must've liked Uruguay's Shakers a lot.
