Best lp by this master of fuzz funk. Grodiest & nastiest thing he ever did, with tons of wacked guitar, wailing organ, & skittering breakbeats. Phallic art & dracula letters continue to provoke head scratches well into the 21st century, while the sounds inside are jungle hot. Coffey worked as a studio guy out of Detroit & nearly singlehandedly sparked the psych/wah fad purveyed by Norman Whitfield bands like the Isleys, Temptations, etc. Lyman Woodard on organ and Andrew Davis on drums.
