Sub-Davie Allan biker soundtrack. The two-cult-genres-at-once movie was made in Los Angeles by a former Roger Corman collaborator (on 'Easy Rider' & 'The Last Movie' no less), and par for the course, he hired local burnout folkie & sometime pop writer Don Gere to make the soundtrack. Acoustic guitar is the base of most of the sounds here, but the score incorporates fuzz where you'd want it, as well as growling, motor revving, screams, indian finger cymbals, really raw & clueless approximations of ragas, and even a couple of country rock tunes. Gere scuttled around LA & got work in all sorts of places, penning singles for Russ Meyers actresses, helping Curt Boettcher work on a 70s solo album, hanging out with Steve Miller's backing band, & so on. Eventually, Gere drifted away from the industry & his soundtrack was lifted for illegal re-use in cheap kung fu flicks. Tracklisting: Werewolves on Wheels, Mount Shasta Home, Ritual, One, Ritual 2, The Devil's Advocates, The Devil's Advocates, One Foot in Heaven, Burning Grass, Tarot, Tarot Trail, Dust Bowl, The Devil's Advocates 2, Ritual 3, Werewolves on Wheels, Radio Record 1, Radio Record 2.
