Considered unplayable even in the 1980s & 90s (at which point folks were out there playing Scelsi, Nancarrow & many other technically challenging folks). Heyn is a German who spent 10 years in rural Australia working at a metalworks factory before he started composing music. Most of his scores have thick straight lines on music bars, and instructions that mention stuff like 'time and anti-time'. Heyn also worked up a piece using a tape of a metal sculpture being demolished as source material. One piece pulls pitches out of a radio broadcast about war in Iraq, and another, inspired by graffiti, was composed in less than ten minutes by using an exacto knife on pieces of cardboard. Tracklisting: Kten, Sirenes, Preludes zu Ferro Canto, Blues in B flat, Blah 2, Resurrection #1, Les Visages des Enfants, Graffiti Risse, Les Visages des Enfants, Graffiti.
