One-eyed pirate attacks on a guitar with six extra holes in it recorded onto a shitty cassette recorder hanging from a rope in the middle of an old shed. A few breaks for overblown harmonica (the non-Stevie Wonder use of which, unless it's bass harmonica, is quite rare), scissors-as-drums, & whistling. I think there's also a ripoff of a ritual Essaourian Gnawa song, but maybe not. Either way, whenever I want the feel of grubby fingers all over my brain stem, I certainly reach for this one. Four bonus tracks from the lp version, plus a photo of AB at about age 21 looking just like Jonathan Richman.
