Fung Wong Lui is one of the stars of Cantonese opera (that's Mak Ben Weng behind him), and the two of them made a number of Mou plays together (Mous are the action/comedies & Muns are the romantic/comedies). Here's one where Lui is an army general (you can tell by the pheasant feathers in his hat). However, he's in a somewhat toned down outfit called the Siu Kow & that strange footstep probably means that he's setting out on a long journey. Sounds here are, like most Cantonese opera, full of extravagantly screeched vocals, even screechier erwu diddley bows, violins & wood flutes, & punctuated by tons of loud-as-fuck gongs that sound like trash can lids being dented by musclebound garbagemen.
