Litto's parents were musicians and he dropped out of school early to play with them. He auditioned to be the singer of Los Gatos, almost wasn't chosen because of his young age (16), but shortly led them on Buenos Aires television & was soon writing teen hits that would spread all over South America. While the Shakers, Los Walkers, & so on all sang in English, Los Gatos took their merseybeat garage to the next level by singing in Spanish & followed the trends of the day into psych-pop & Hendrix-worship. When the rest of Los Gatos took a break after a long tour & visited the US to pick up new members and equipment circa '69, Nebbia stayed home & thought about what direction to take next. He ended up writing some solo songs & acting in a movie about the beat rock scene. The movie was successful enough that he issued the songs as a record, and then after Los Gatos returned, he issued a 2nd solo record that included a picture of his mom on the front cover. Intimate & melancholy songs with piano & acoustic guitars. A bit folksier than the solo records by post-Almendra members like Spinetta or Molinari, but there's (of course) still a hefty dollop of solo McCartney here. The cd is new, but is very gray area, so the booklet manufacturing leaves a bit to be desired.
