Having spent 10 years researching the musicians of Ghana, Miles Cleret decided that his two volumes of 'Ghana Soundz' weren't enough to give a true overview of the country's recording industry throughout the 70s. Besides a lot of hotfoot funk inspired by the JBs, there were big band stars getting down with sailor songs played on acoustic guitars, singers who dressed up in Chinese shirts, nightclubs with zoos inside, bands with fire eaters & snake charmers.
