Saxana is the Czech version of 'Bewitched'. A hep, cartoony, teen witch who gets detention at Wiccan High School & sneaks out into the 'regular' world. She discovers transistor radios with fuzz bass, turns boring adults into cottontail bunnies, & bounces her red curls all over a low cut black velvet dress. Composer Michajlov also arranged R&B flavored rave ups for Marta Kubisova (who you might remember from an overview on Vampisoul last year- she helps out a bit here too). Lead actress Petra Oernocka was a singer for a pop trio called the Cardinals, and she sings the theme song herself. Lounge excitement and psychedelic beat flavor, with lots of exotic percussion & silly effects.
