With their salacious organ sound (so good the instrument was called 'The Matador' and they named the band after it) this Prague freakbeat band slammed out fuzzed-up R&B every bit as surly as the hippest Animals records. Audaciously dark freakouts like 'Extraction' were borne of playing covers they learned off Radio Luxembourg- phonetically no less, as nobody in the band spoke English. They toured around to Belgium & Germany, and when the tanks rolled into their hometown in '68, they decided to take up a gig as the backing band for a German version of 'Hair' for a couple of years. Everything they ever recorded, even though it's titled slightly differently than the World Psychedelia cd. Tracklisting: Get Down From the Tree, Old Mother Hubbard, Hate Everything Except Of Hatter, Sing a Song of Sixpence, You'll Be Mine, I Think It's Gonna Work Out Fine, Don't Bother Me, I Feel So Lonely, Lahev Kalorii, Locomotion With You, I Want To See You, Extraction, Indolence, Farmer John, Malej Zvon Co Mam, My Girl, Bad Bad Bird, I'm So Lonesome, Shotgun, Snad Jednou Ti Dam, It's All Over Now Baby Blue, I Must Hope, Pay Pay Twist, Zlaty Dul.
